The Escort PS Youth is a gas-operated 20 gauge semi-automatic shotgun with a 3 inch chamber and a 22 inch chrome-plated barrel. It is finished in Realtree APG on a synthetic stock and forend with checkered grip surfaces. A brass bead front sight sits on a 7mm ventilated rib for a simple sight picture.

The Smart Valve piston and Fast Loading System cycle 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shotshells. An anodized aircraft-alloy receiver has an 11mm groove for optics, and a TrioPad rubber buttpad with spacers lets length of pull be extended. Stock shims adjust drop and cast for a better youth fit.
