The Henry Big Boy Steel Side Gate is a lighter-weight lever action that keeps the brush-gun appeal of the brass-framed Big Boys while adding a side loading gate and a blued steel receiver. Chambered in .44 Magnum/.44 Special, it offers the convenience of topping off the magazine without removing the rifle from the shoulder.

A 20" round blued steel barrel pairs with a blued receiver, checkered American walnut straight-wrist stock and forend, and a black solid rubber recoil pad. Fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights with diamond insert and a brass bead front sight provide reliable aiming, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for optics. The large loop lever, side gate, removable 10-round tube magazine, swivel studs, and transfer bar safety complete a practical field setup that weighs 7 pounds.
