The Ruger American Gen II in .450 Bushmaster features a 20 inch cold hammer-forged threaded barrel with factory-installed radial-port muzzle brake and a professionally applied Gun Metal Gray Cerakote finish on the barrel, brake, receiver, and bolt handle. It is fitted with a Gray Splatter Gen II stock and a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base. The Power Bedding system locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for accuracy.

The Gray Splatter stock uses a soft rubber recoil pad with a large heel radius for easy shouldering and progressive collapse to reduce felt recoil. Removing the installed spacer adjusts length of pull from 13.75 inches to 12 inches. The installed low comb can be removed for use with low-mounted sights. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger provides a crisp release adjustable from 3 to 5 pounds. A one-piece stainless steel three-lug bolt with 70 degree throw and oversized handle, plus a three-position tang safety, complete the action. One single-stack magazine and steel sling swivel studs are included.

This bolt-action rifle is well suited for hunters who want a compact, recoil-managed platform in .450 Bushmaster. The 1:16 right-hand twist, 5-groove barrel, and 3+1 capacity make it effective for medium to large game and practical field use.
