Ruger SFAR

The Ruger SFAR is a small-frame autoloading rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor that is nearly the same size as a traditional 5.56 MSR. It uses a 20 inch cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly barrel with 5R rifling, black nitride finish, and a Ruger 2-port Boomer muzzle brake on 5/8"-24 threads. A 15 inch free-float aluminum handguard with Magpul M-LOK slots and a Magpul PRS Lite stock with Magpul MOE-K2 grip complete the platform.

The 7075-T6 hard-coat anodized upper and lower include a full-length Picatinny rail, flared magazine well, and gas venting. A 4-position rotary-regulator gas block and rifle-length gas system allow tuning for different ammunition. The Ruger Elite 452 two-stage trigger provides a crisp 4.5 pound pull. The bolt is CNC-machined from high-strength super alloy steel with dual ejectors. One 20-round Magpul PMAG is included and the rifle accepts SR25/AR-10 pattern magazines.

This configuration is well suited for long-range shooting and hunting. The 6.5 Creedmoor chambering, 1:8 twist, and 20+1 capacity deliver a light-recoiling, accurate small-frame option.
